Winter Watering = Spring Success!
On dry weeks with no snow, water every 2–3 weeks when it’s 40°F+ and the soil is thawed (10am–2pm).
~ Lawns: ½–1″ of water
~ Trees: 10 gal per inch of trunk (ex. 2″ tree gets 20 gallons of water)
~ Evergreens: don’t skip them!
~Shrubs & Perennials: a slow soak at the base is perfect
Use a hose, then disconnect and re-wrap your backflow.
