HUGHES NEWS
What's New?
October is here, and that means it’s time to start getting your landscape ready for winter!
This month, our crews are busy helping homeowners wrap up the season with sprinkler blowouts, fall cleanups, final mowing services, and other seasonal landscape care.
Reminders
~ Sprinkler Blowouts Are Underway
A sprinkler blowout helps protect pipes, valves, and sprinkler components from freezing temperatures. If you haven’t scheduled your blowout yet, give our office a call — appointments fill quickly as colder weather approaches.
~ Don’t Forget About Winter Watering
Even though sprinkler systems will soon be turned off, Colorado landscapes can still need water during dry stretches throughout the winter. Trees, shrubs, and newer plantings especially benefit from occasional winter watering when temperatures allow.
Up & Coming
~ Fall Calendars are OPEN!
Fall season will be here before we know it, and schedules fill up quickly once the leaves start dropping. Now is a great time to get on the list for leaf cleanup or sprinkler blowout!
~ Plan Now, Enjoy It This Spring
Whether you’re thinking about a new patio, planting, water feature, sod, or a full landscape refresh, planning ahead means less rushing and more time to enjoy the finished space when warmer weather returns.
